As producer Amy Pascal promised earlier this week, the first look at Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) has arrived, and it's every bit as spectacular as we've been expecting as Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) reunites with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) before an absolutely wild meeting with Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac)!
While not much is known about the plot of the film, it looks like Phil Lord and Christopher Miller along with directors Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson have very big plans for the Spider-Verse as this film is now being billed as Part One, which means we'll see even more of Miles Morales traversing through the multiverse to worlds unknown as he crosses paths with a variety of amazing Spider-people.
As for when Part Two is coming, that's anyone's guess, but with Sony already booking October 6, 2023 for a mystery Marvel/Sony project, then it's probably safe to assume that's where the threequel will land.
So far, only Oscar Isaac, Shameik Moore, and Hailee Steinfeld have been confirmed as members of the sure-to-be epic voice cast, but we also previously received word that Jake Johnson will indeed return to voice Peter B. Parker while Issa Rae is expected to debut as Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman. We're not sure who else will join them, but Miller did recently tease that we could possibly see some live-action Spider-Men pop in...
