Jamie Foxx Drops Revealing Plot Point For AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

Perhaps Electro isn't actually a villain in the Amazing Spider-Man 2? Or at the very least he doesn't start out that way according to actor Jamie Foxx. If so, can we safely assume that there will be a third antagonist in the film?

"You'll see that in his whole life, no one is talking to [Electro]. People have stolen his ideas at the big company. He's a nobody. At a certain point, Spider-Man bumps into him and says, 'You're my guy. You're my eyes and ears on the street.' And he says his name — no one has ever said [Max] Dillon's name."

"He sort of starts thinking that somehow, he's Spider-Man's partner." Fox went on to say. The Academy Award winning actor would also add however, that from there, Dillon undergoes a series on unfortunate events that lead to him becoming the ne'er-do-well comic book fans are familiar with.

"When it turns on, he lights it up," the actor teased.

Foxx goes on to talk about the costume but its essentially a rehash from what was previously reported earlier today.

Interesting, so it sounds like Max Dillon will be an unheralded employee at Oscorp who starts out as an ally of Spider-Man before becoming a villain. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel, rumored to be titled The Spectacular Spider-Man starts filming in February for a release date of May 2, 2014.
