MADAME WEB Set Photos Feature A Familiar SPIDER-MAN Comic Book Location

Cameras are still rolling on Sony Pictures' Madame Web, and these latest photos from the set spotlight a relatively obscure location from the comics that should still be familiar to Spider-Man fans...

A recent report claimed to have divulged some surprising details about the various characters we'll meet in Sony Pictures' Madame Web (though it's important to note that nothing has been confirmed just yet), and these latest photos from the set reveal yet another Spider-Man connection.

Twitter user @NancyWheelhouse has shared some snaps of one of the locations we'll see in the movie: The 4 Star Diner. Though a relatively obscure spot, long-time Spider-Man fans may recognize this diner as a favorite hang-out of Peter Parker and his college friends.

Honestly, this is probably little more than an Easter Egg, but the location could also hold a little more significance if Emma Roberts is playing Peter's mother, Mary Parker, and Adam Scott has been cast as his Uncle Ben - assuming those particular characters frequent the diner, of course!

Again, the 4 Star Diner is unlikely to factor into Madame Web very much (we may only see it for a single shot), but even so, it's a nice little nod to the comic books.

The upcoming SPUMC movie will also star Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, and Celeste O'Connor.

S.J. Clarkson (The Defenders) is directing from a screenplay by Morbius scribes Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. The movie was recently pushed back by almost three months from July 7 to October 6, 2023.

Still think Dakota Johnson should be Julia Carpenter and Sydney Sweeney Charlotte Witter, but I do admit it's unexpected that Sony dares drawing on names from the comics. Here's hoping it's not just the name only though.

Off topic: @RorMachine Probably a smart move by Tom Holland.

I wish a lot more younger people would at least take a break from, if not get off "social media" permanently. You will feel better, more positive, and have less anxiety overall.
Remember kids, the internet, is not an accurate reflection of reality.

I’m only interested in this movie because Sydney Sweeney is in it. That woman is a damn goddess!
