MORBIUS Trailer Teases Adrian Toomes' Return And Reveals Location Sure To Be Familiar To SPIDER-MAN Fans

As promised, Sony Pictures has unleashed the new trailer for Morbius, and as well as featuring more of Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes, we see a location that Spider-Man fans should instantly recognise...

The final trailer for Morbius has been unleashed, and it sets the stage for what looks to be an exciting, horror-inspired visit to Sony Pictures' expanding Spider-Man Universe.

We see a little more of Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes, and while we're no closer to learning whether he's a Variant or somehow stranded in a different reality, The Vulture clearly wants Dr. Michael Morbius to break bad. It almost sounds like he might be attempting to recruit the Living Vampire, and we can't help but wonder whether he's looking to assemble the Sinister Six.

Elsewhere in this trailer, we see more of Matt Smith's Milo, and learn that Morbius works for Horizon Labs. Fans of Spider-Man will know Peter Parker worked there for a time, as did Michael; how significant this location's introduction will prove to be hard to say, but it's another big tie to the wall-crawler's world.

We've embedded two versions of the Morbius trailer below, as the UK teaser ends with a slightly different exchange between Morbius and Tyrese Gibson and Al Madrigal's FBI agents.

"One of Marvel's most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius," reads the synopsis. "Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While it seems to be a success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil - or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious urges?"

The cast of Morbius also includes, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, , and Tyrese Gibson. After a number of release date delays, the movie finally arrives in theaters on April 1.

@LordMushu - I'm shocked they're not using Billie Eilish anywhere in the trailer.
I guess leave that to titok and fancam editors to pull that one off.

Only thing that remotely interests me in this movie... Why tf is The Vulture in it? Lol. I'm still thinking it's gonna be just for a cameo though

The fact that Sony still hasnt spoiled how this movie plays out in the trailers is a Big achievement for them, anyways, i'm cautiously optimistic about this movie, from the interviews to the trailers give an average at Best look to it that means is going to be better than Venom 2

Looks to me like Toomes is just talking Morbius into escaping prison.

Also, I'm cautiously optimistic. Him preying on bad guys on the ship gave me some Batman vibes, which I think is a cool side to lean into

@NakedAvenger - not even, we had the Avengers by then. This aesthetic died out at least 15 years ago

I'm sorry but these Sony Spider-Man adjacent projects are just a flatline for me, there's not an aspect of them that look remotely interesting, and the inclusion of actual MCU characters like Toomes just adds confusion on top of disinterest.

@Spidey91 - lol. They will leech off that association to Marvel no matter what.
