Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland reveals his three favourite villains from the time he's spent as Peter Parker, expressing an interest in one day pitting the wall-crawler against a Living Vampire.

Since first appearing in 2016, Tom Holland's Spider-Man has been pitted against everyone from Captain America to Mysterio and Thanos, but next up are a number of villains from alternate realities. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, the wall-crawler will find himself taking on the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Sandman, and The Lizard, but who could be next for Spidey?

Asked about his favourite Marvel Cinematic Universe opponents, Holland responded: "That's tricky. I think the Vulture is going to be in there because he's my first and that was cool. I think Jake's [Gyllenhaal, Mysterio] got to be in there because he's my love. And I think Willem, the fight scenes that we have with Willem are crazy and so scary that it really was awesome to like, explore different kinds of Spider-Man action."

As for future opponents, the actor had a surprising suggestion for his Spider-Man's next sinister foe. "I actually think the Morbius film looks really cool. And it's more scary, that film," Holland suggested. "I think it could be quite a cool thing...Spider-Man versus a vampire."

Spider-Man crossing paths with Morbius does have some potential, especially if Marvel Studios or Sony Pictures were to follow the comic books in regards to what happened during their first meeting (as the teaser image above shows, that involved the wall-crawler getting four extra arms). Jared Leto has teased a "sinister" future for Morbius, so perhaps this clash is being saved for a Sinister Six movie?

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.

I don't trust Amy Pascal and I don't trust Sony either but I hope this new Spider-Man movie goes well.

@Bluesman - I trust pascal more than the other Sony people. She at least is smart enough to know that they need Feige to stay afloat at this point

Blink twice if Sony is making you say this, Tom.

If Peter studies at MIT, I want to see Alistair Smythe as Peter's classmate. Alistair is an outstanding student and he uses small robotic spiders to spy on his rivals. Uncle Fisk finances Alistair's studies and Alistair works creating machines and cybernetic enhancements.

I can imagine the Spider-Slayers causing damage to the MIT while Spider-Man tries to survive.

No thank you. Rather see him take on Venom and Kraven, Kingpin, and Ock and the Sinister Six respectively in the next three movies

A Spidey v Morbius movie would be awesome. I would love to see the story line from ASM 100 to 102 happen.

I’d like to see Jackal and Ben Reilly if they do a 4th movie.

I'm torn on this... but it should be noted the Spiderman-Moribus Storyline in the animated series was pretty epic. Would be great to see that brought into live action
