SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME's Final Runtime Has Reportedly Been Revealed

There's been a lot of speculation about the length of Spider-Man: No Way Home's in recent months (especially after Jon Watts described it as "Spider-Man: Endgame"), & we now have an apparent final runtime.

It's become apparent that Spider-Man: No Way Home is going to be one of Marvel Studios' biggest, most ambitious movies to date. Of course, an adventure that grand in scale requires a decent runtime, so just how long will the threequel be? According to a new report, 2 hours and 28 minutes.

That places it behind only Avengers: Endgame (3 hours and 2 minutes), Eternals (2 hours and 37 minutes), and Avengers: Infinity War (2 hours and 29 minutes). We've independently confirmed a two-and-a-half-hour runtime with Sony Pictures, so this figure is correct.

This runtime includes credits (and post-credits scenes), of course, and hopefully means Marvel Studios' first foray into the live-action Multiverse is given the space it needs to breathe. We know of at least five villains set to appear, and if those other Spider-Men also show up, then 148 minutes sounds about right.

Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.

Seeing the movie Wednesday...not sure when the embargo lifts for reactions/reviews yet, though.

Given how much it seems to pack in there, it makes sense. I wish it were shorter, but maybe that would've hurt whatever story it is they're gonna tell

@bkmeijer - I think its a good runtime for everything that needs to happen.

I still dont get what Sandman and Lizard are doing in this movie, I look forward to the story arcs of Green Goblin (doesnt want to go back to die in his universe & it doesnt matter what universe or what Spidey it is, he will do anything to take power), Doc Ock (also doesnt want to die & the arms probably take control of him) and Electro (also doesnt want to die & probably hates any Spidey from any universe)

but its genius they way they are doing it, ties together all the Spider-Man movies, sets up already introduced villains meaning you can jump straight into multiverse madness

but why oh why not bring back Vulture and Shocker, would have given us two villains of each Spidey
