Comic book movie news has been few and far between since the coronavirus pandemic worsened and Hollywood all-but shut down, but there are still some interesting rumors out there, and we've rounded up a few of the juicier ones for you guys to take a look at below.
We have a possible update on Marvel and Sony's plans for a
Spider-Woman movie, a
Mad Max: Furiosa casting rumor, a report on a potential big-screen outing for Marvel's
Squadron Supreme, and more.
Some of these sound more believable than others, but if it's included here it should be taken with the usual pinch of salt until we learn more. Have a scroll through by clicking the next button and let us know what you think in the comments.

Marvel Studios May Be Developing A Squadron Supreme Project
Previous rumors have suggested that members of the
Squadron Supreme might show up in the Disney+
Loki series, but a new report from
Daniel Richtman reckons Marvel Studios is developing a project focused on the obscure superteam. He doesn't know if it'll be for the big screen or the Disney+ streaming service, however.
We're not sure how much stock to put in this, but it does seem feasible that Marvel would get around to doing something with Hyperion, Nighthawk, Doctor Spectrum, Power Princess and co. at some point.
More Marvel Zombies in What If...?
A report from a Spanish website claims to have some new details on Marvel's animated
What If...? Disney+ series. Apparently, Ryan Meinerding will serve as artistic director and main designer on the show. Plus, the Zombies episode will reportedly feature undead versions of numerous Marvel characters aside from Captain America.
Nothing Earth-shattering, but you can have a read through for yourselves here.
Jodie Comer as Younger Furiosa in Mad Max Sequel?
It was recently reported that George Miller is planning a Mad Max: Fury Road prequel that would focus on a younger version of Charlize Theron's Furiosa, and now a new rumor reckons Killing Eve's Jodie Comer is on the studio's radar for the lead role.
Eternals actor Richard Madden is also said to be wanted for a role that's described as "a breathtakingly handsome man with an angel’s face that is scarred by a deep forehead wound stitched together with shiny chrome staples."
This project hasn't even been officially greenlit yet so we're going to go ahead and give this one the side-eye, but it's up to you how much stock you want to put into the report.
Kevin Feige Cutting A Spider-Woman Deal With Sony?
We've already had reports of Sony developing a
Spider-Woman movie, but a new rumor now suggests that Marvel's Kevin Feige wants to make a deal with the studio that would allow the character to swing over into the MCU.
According to Charles Murphy (via MCU Exchange) the deal would allow both parties to ulilize Jessica Drew, similar to how Tom Holland's Peter Parker can currently appear in The MCU and Sony's separate Spidey universe (Venom, Morbius, etc).
Norman Osborn in The MCU?
Finally, we have arguably the most outlandish rumor of the lot - although it is worth noting that the source has shared solid scoops in the past.
According to Roger Wardell, both David Morrissey (The Walking Dead) and Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) are being eyed for the role of Norman Osborn in an unnamed Marvel Phase 4 project. Apparently, the character's "Green Goblin alter-ego will not be happening anytime soon."
Again, the source has previously been accurate, but we reckon if there was any movement at all on the Osborn situation then the trades would have ran with it.
Still, you never know. Let us know what you make of this and the other rumors in the usual place.
