AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Trailer Set To Hit On February 9th?

Yes, it's that time again. Now that The Amazing Spider-Man's director Marc Webb has confirmed that the trailer will hit "within the next month" we now have a report that indicates a specific date for the trailer. Read on for details.

Whenever a rough date for the release of a trailer finds its way online, as it did for The Amazing Spider-Man earlier today courtesy of director Marc Webb, it is not unusual to then find an onslaught of "scoops" and downright guesses as to when exactly it will be available to watch. Rama's SCREEN has a fairly convincing report on when we might see the trailer, reportedly hearing the information directly from someone "in the industry" who recently met with Sony. According to the site, the trailer will be released online on February 9th and attached to both Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and The Vow. Take it with a pinch of salt for now and sound off with your thoughts in the usual place.

Raimi's Spider-Man films were cheesy and campy, with Peter Parker being a whiny little cry baby whos personality was absent, and with Mary Jane who acted like a bitch the whole time. The only villain that was done justice was Dr. Octopus.
The only thing good about those films was seeing Spider-Man on screen. That's it.

i completely agree with SageMode. rewatch the raimi's series and they me it isnt shit. i even remember watching them as a kid and knowing how cheesy they were. this looks like miles of improvements over the last trilogy and i cant wait until it proves everyone wrong

I am in total support of the new Spiderman movie. I feel like Spiderman is finally going to be done right. No more emo, whiny bitchy Peter. No more annoying Mary Jane, at least not yet, though hopefully she'll be portrayed right this time. Gwen is finally going to make her appearance. Finally get web-shooters. Organic webs made no sense and took away from showing how smart Peter is and the fact that he is a scientist, which was never shown in those films. Oh yeah, and the Lizard. Wish he could look a little creepier cause that picture that was released looks like the son of Killer Croc. Hoping this new trailer shows Spiderman in action. I'm also excited to see what's going to be done with Peter's parents. This film is going to be... Sensational.
