Some newly surfaced Spider-Man: Far From Home concept art has been revealed and it offers some alternate takes on the tributes scattered throughout the sequel paying homage to the fallen Avenger, Iron Man!

Spider-Man: Far From Home was the final movie in Marvel Studios' Phase 3, and that meant the sequel had to deal with the fallout from Avengers: Endgame. That obviously included the death of Tony Stark/Iron Man, Peter Parker's mentor and the man who helped make him Spider-Man.

Now, some concept art from the new "Art of" book for Spider-Man: Far From Home has started doing the rounds online, and it offers some alternate takes on the memorials for the fallen Avenger.

From huge pieces of artwork paying homage to the "Invincible" superhero to pieces looking back on his greatest hits in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, these are all really cool and definitely would have looked pretty spectacular in a live-action setting (some of this concept art even shows different settings for Spidey as he looks at the memorial for Tony on that rooftop).

Hulk really snapped half the universe back into existence and they still put a whole ass poster together where Iron Man was giving him the hands in Celebration of Tony Stark

The Tony Stark stuff was pretty dead on - with him being dead and villains still wanting revenge against him.

The Aunt May sex jokes were also on the mark imo.

Everyone knew Tony was going to die, he'd pretty much been set-up to die since Avengers and we were all just waiting on which film would do it.

Several artist made fan posters that basically depict exactly how he dies just with the real gauntlet. It was very obvious he was going to die doing a 'snap'

The entire 'Tony Stark Gauntlet' idea leaked around the same time as Infinity War and people dismissed it because it sounded lazy, stupid and contrived rather than using the pre-established Gauntlet that Rocket saw.

I get that the movie wanted to play up the loss of Tony since it was the most significant to Peter, but especially within the US, it would've been nice to make it feel like the public was mourning Cap too. The guy was an icon and a historical figure who was presumed dead for decades. He had an exhibit at the Smithsonian. Yet his supposed death was treated like a footnote. Guess we'll have to wait for Falcon and Winter Soldier to rectify that.
