IMDb is known for being bias, and especially on the message boards where users can post anything up. I cant even tell you how many people I have seen lie on those boards, so at first I was pretty cautious about this news.

A user on IMDb (who I will keep nameless) posted about a day ago that Chris Zylka, who can be seen in Kaboom and the TV adaption of 10 Things I Hate About You, has been cast in an unspecified role in Marc Webb's upcoming Spider-Man reboot. Interestingly, Zylka posted the following twenty-one hours ago on his Twitter account, after making mention four days ago of attending a few meetings.

So could there be some truth to this? It looks like there might be, and if so, I would be included to believe he would play Eddie Brock (Venom), Eugene "Flash" Thompson, who bullied Peter Parker through high school, or Harry Osborn, Peter's best friend.

Zylka could potentially join Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Zooey Deschanel, Martin Sheen and Sally Field in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot, directed by Marc Webb for a July 3, 2012 3D release. And And the cast is rapidly growing before December, next month, when filming is set to begin.
