Spider-Man: Homecoming was a smash hit with audiences and critics alike, but of course the guys at Cinema Sins managed to find some problems with it. Get ready for Birdman references!

Check out the video below:

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in "Captain America: Civil War," begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Best MCU movie to date, loved every moment of it, especially the scene with Keaton in the car

These videos typify the worst about fan culture. Make pertinent points for Christ’s sake.

I only watch Cinema Sins videos because they entertain me to some degree. But some people actually take most of these "sins" seriously and start flame wars

Damn. People were swearing up and down it was underperforming and it ended up being the highest grossing CBM of 2017.

MCU's first take on Spidey and people expected it to surpass SM2 in quality, even though it's in talks as the best to some.

MCU's first take on Spidey and people wanted it to surpass SM3 numbers after the damage that The Amazing Spider-Man films caused the brand.

Take a bow Peter.

@Roodi -

Every Spider-man film has earned over $700m and the average of the original three was 832.13*m. As such earning $50m more than average for the originals despite Civil War and Iron Man - this was an under-performance.

In terms of quality i'd rank it as the second worst, above TASM 2 but below Spider-man 3.

@Scarilian - This movie was pretty middling for me overall, then again I've never been a huge Spider-Man fan to begin with.

That being said, what arbitrary number should it have attained to satisfy the "under-performer" crew? Basically the standard is it should have been the biggest Spider-Man movie of all time?
