While their Electro Collector's Edition gift set for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was an undisputed misstep, it looks like Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has gotten back on track with a pretty spectacular Amazon-Exclusive Mask Case for the upcoming 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray release of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Yes, the film has only been out less than a week, but considering that these special editions are often decided on long before the theatrical release, it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that Sony had this exclusive packagaing already ready to go in the off chance that their first collaboration with Marvel Studios was a colossal hit, which as we all know by now, it certainly was.
The Amazon-Exclusive is expected to include 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital HD copies of the Jon Watts-directed film and is already available to pre-order on their website, but you better hurry and reserve your copy as it's rumored to only be available in limited quantities. The mask will also feature fully expressive eyes (just like the movie suit) and will open in the back to reveal your discs.
There's unsurprisingly no release date, but you can probably expect it to arrive in stores just in time for Christmas. In the meantime, head over to Amazon to check out the announcement video, which previews the exclusive features.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
