With the movie due out in less than a month, Sony Pictures has launched a new Spider-Man: Homecoming app, which comes equipped with a handful of cool features, including one that allows fans to get a sneak peek at the contents of Peter Parker's cell phone.
There's nothing particularly spoiler-y as the content primarily focuses on Peter's school life and his relationship with his closet friends, which as you can see below includes classic Spidey supporting characters played by Zendaya (The Greatest Showman), Jacob Batalon (North Woods), Laura Harrier (The Last Five Years), Tony Revolori (Dope), and Angourie Rice (The Nice Guys).
While we know Batalon, Harrier, and Revolori are playing Ned Leeds, Liz Allen, and Flash Thompson, respectively, Zendaya's "Michelle" remains a mysterious wildcard as does Rice's character, who despite her very Gwen Stacy-like outfit, has been heavily rumored to be playing a young Betty Brant.
Check out the cell phone photos as well as a few more recent stills, including a new shot of Marisa Tomei (Captain America: Civil War) as Aunt May, below:
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
