SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (PART ONE) First Look Drops Miles Morales Into A Wild New Adventure

Ahead of the Spider-Man: No Way Home launch, Sony has shared the first look at Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One), which sees Miles Morales reunite with Gwen Stacy and meet Miguel O'Hara!

As producer Amy Pascal promised earlier this week, the first look at Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) has arrived, and it's every bit as spectacular as we've been expecting as Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) reunites with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) before an absolutely wild meeting with Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac)!

While not much is known about the plot of the film, it looks like Phil Lord and Christopher Miller along with directors Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson have very big plans for the Spider-Verse as this film is now being billed as Part One, which means we'll see even more of Miles Morales traversing through the multiverse to worlds unknown as he crosses paths with a variety of amazing Spider-people.

As for when Part Two is coming, that's anyone's guess, but with Sony already booking October 6, 2023 for a mystery Marvel/Sony project, then it's probably safe to assume that's where the threequel will land.

So far, only Oscar Isaac, Shameik Moore, and Hailee Steinfeld have been confirmed as members of the sure-to-be epic voice cast, but we also previously received word that Jake Johnson will indeed return to voice Peter B. Parker while Issa Rae is expected to debut as Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman. We're not sure who else will join them, but Miller did recently tease that we could possibly see some live-action Spider-Men pop in...

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) swings exclusively into theaters on October 7, 2022.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) debuts in theaters October 7, 2022.

@BritishMonkey - Such an underrated series, and i think Venom 2 had Some concepts borrowed from it like Carnage being taller than Venom or it trying to turn the world into simbiotes

@PantherKing - those splash panels looked like they're in Hindi. Fingers crossed for Spider-Man: India to make an appearance.

LETS GOOOO!! Loving the art style already and the new Miles model is great. Not sure how I feel about the new suit as much but it's not bad. The first one just has that charm. And Miguel vs. Miles traveling across different dimensions??? I'm in

Maybe its just me, but there is something about the animation that I take slight issue with, same problem with the first film. The animation makes it look like much of what you are seeing is out of focus, like its slightly blurry. For example, in the scene where Miles and Gwen are in his room, they are the only two figures that are actually not slightly blurry. I'm not sure why they do this, and its not something I've seen in other animated movies

@HeavyMetal4Life - same thing I said when I saw this.

@HeavyMetal4Life - the style is meant to appear like an old comic book. That's why it looks that way.

I feel like this trailer came outta nowhere, even tho they did say a tease was coming.

Bro, Part One tho??? I swear, they're gonna have an Endgame sequence with all the Spider-People at some point.

@TheDoctor1225 - yup. loving Jamie's interaction with the other 2. Biggest takeaway from the video is that (SPOILERS) yeah, gobby looks to be the main villain based on what Jamie said.

@JFerguson - Oh my gosh yes! Absolutely love that character! So obscure for general audiences but would be an excellent nod and intro for him
