SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE - The Late, Great Stan Lee's Second Cameo Has Been Revealed

We've been hearing for a while that Stan "The Man" Lee made multiple cameo appearances in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and this new video reveals another of those (and it's a good one). Check it out!

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is crammed full of Easter Eggs but the animation style means that many of them are impossible to spot during a first viewing. Luckily, we don't have too much longer to wait until it arrives on Blu-ray (March 19th) and it's fair to say that a lot of fans will be combing through the (soon to be Oscar-winning?) movie to see what they can spot.

Well, animator Nick Kondo has today taken to social media to reveal another cameo from the late, great Stan "The Man" Lee.

As you can see, when Miles Morales is swinging through New York City for the first time, one of the passengers in the subway car he runs across is Lee and he can be spotted making the classic "Thwip" hand gesture! Earlier in the movie, Miles buys a Spider-Man costume from the legendary comic book creator following the death of Peter Parker.

This is a really cool cameo and it will be interesting to see whether or not Lee pops up elsewhere during the course of this animated adventure. Into the Spider-Verse was made before his death last year, but still features a tribute to him right at the very end.

Are you excited to watch the movie again? Share your thoughts on that in the comments section.

First time I've walked out of a Spider-Man film with pure joy since 2004.
