Everything he said here was correct, just wish he had more ownership of Terminator...with him bein the sole creator of the universe it seems wrong to not have him a part of it. It'd be like Star Wars without Lucas...yeah you can still make Star Wars movies but it's not the same...something is lost...

@Superdog Yes I agree with you. The First Batman was good, I think that he made a blanket statement referring to the the Schumacher ones...I think if it was mentioned he'd retract but you're still right he was wrong...as good as Batman 1 is....the Clooney Nipple Fest always trumps it's Pale Moon Light Glory...haha
LEEE777
LEEE777 - 2/18/2010, 8:45 AM
InFamouslyCool @ Its still gotta beat BURTON's BATMAN first!!! : P

The Terminator film franchise was finished by part 2. Let it die.

As for the Burton Batman movies, They were great, but very flawed

@jman1977

Do you think you can type up what Cameron's saying? I cant see the video either.
Ryguy88
Ryguy88 - 2/18/2010, 10:39 AM
Yeah, Cameron went on to say in the first video that he is directing the Spiderman reboot, in 3D. Than he said that after Spiderman is done he will be directing the next Batman movie, in 3D. After that he said he is in the final stages of working out a contract with the sudio to direct Terminator 4, 5 and 6 and finish with a Robocop vs. Terminator movie, all in 3D. That's pretty much the jist of it.

Burton's first Batman was good, but Nolan's Batman is way better. Just stop and really think about it. Batman Begins was way better story wise then Burton's Batman. Plus think of all the secondary characters that were highlighted more in Batman Begins I cant even remember Jim Gordon from Batman 89". Also I hated that they had Joker be the killer of his Parents thats just lazy writing. And even when I was 10 years old when the movie came out I thought Mr Mom was not the best choice, he did surprise me but I feel Bale is better. Bale just needs to get rid of the voice.

I think its one of those Nerd Commandments is the reason people like Burton's Batman better and are not thinking clearly.
Dmon
Dmon - 2/18/2010, 11:11 AM
@continuezero WOW Aquaman 3D actually sounds pretty cool.
Mazoku
Mazoku - 2/18/2010, 11:29 AM
To be honest, the original Batmans were not that good... I think that Jack Nicholson's performance as the joker(in its own context) was so good that it overshadowed how average this film really was. Batman returns was also an average film at best.

Schumachers movies blew enough said

And about the Batman voice, the whisky and razorblade voice, ITS SUPPOSED TO SOUND FAKE lol hes hiding his voice so he cant be identified as Bruce Wayne because of how popular a figure he is in Gotham. I dont mind it, stop nitpicking TDK lol is near perfect the way it was made!
Stumblin
Stumblin - 2/18/2010, 11:54 AM
I agree with teabag, I'm still not a fan of Bale's Batman voice. It's not nitpicking when it's relevant to the main character and is used throughout the majority of the film. I think it's a reasonable gripe to note Bale's Batman was just a little much.

Burton's Batman was actually closer to the comics though in regards to which is better. The Joker origin was roughly the same, minus the Red Hood and he didn't kill Bruce's parents.

Nolan's Batman is good too, and don't get me wrong I get goose bumps watching either movie, but I think Burton's Batman was closer adaptation to the comics.
Dmon
Dmon - 2/18/2010, 12:00 PM
@Stumblin LOL I have been reading Batman comics almost 25 years (which was before Burton's Batman came out), how was Burton's Batman closer to the comic? There was some retelling in Nolan's Batman but it was way closer to the comic. Except Joker falling into chemicals.
Shaman
Shaman - 2/18/2010, 12:20 PM
Dmon- No that's just YOU'RE OPINION. We have ours and it has nothing to do with nostalgia. We've explained our points of view countless times yet Burton is still my favorite. That doesn't ultimately meen that i hated Nolan's. It's a preference like anything else. Let's not be so extremist.

Mazoku- The same could be said of Ledger's performance. They were brilliant films but Ledger's performance did the same as Jack's in that regards.

The drama and character development was better captured by Nolan while the action and comic book feel was better captured by Burton. It's not a crime to pick one as a preference.

I'm glad I'm not the only one tired of cameron. it just seems like he's turned into an ass. I think he fell into the "johnny depp curse". this is what happens when you actually start believing the hype that you hear about yourself. much like Depp, hence the "Johnny Depp Curse".

to Galactus: thank you for fixing the Halo movie pop ups, it was getting very annoying not being able to see the first two articles off any tab.
