Played by Michael Mando, the last we saw of this character was amid his captivity in Spider-Man: Homecoming; discussing plans with Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes to gather a group of "his boys" from the outside to take care of the webhead once and for all.
With Spider-Man 4 on the horizon, it is looking we will at the very least see Mac Gargan take matters into his own hands in going head-to-head with Spider-Man, and perhaps even assemble a couple of "his boys" to form a preamble to the iconic Sinister Six group, who we could see him facing off against later.
However, though the report does not specifically indicate the character returning in Spider-Man 4, there could be a chance he first makes an appearance in Daredevil: Born Again, where Wilson Fisk's Kingpin hires the Private Investigator to pursue the likes of Daredevil, and possibly other vigilantes in the wake of enacting his ant-vigilante law as the mayor of New York, that may lead Spider-Man 4.
As of right now though, no news on Spider-Man 4's script or development have been released, but we will keep you updated on the matter.
Would you want to see Michael Mando's Mac Gargan finally suit up as the Scorpion for the very first time in Spider-Man 4?
Spider-Man 4 currently does not have an official release date scheduled - due to the Hollywood Strike, development on the film as well has been halted indefinitely.
