There continues to be a lot of speculation about whether Spider-Man (well, one of them) could factor into the Morbius franchise, especially with Adrian Toomes set to make his presence felt. The Vulture obviously has a history with the MCU's Spider-Man, but the trailers have dropped a few teases about Tobey Maguire's web-slinger existing in Dr. Michael Morbius' world.

In the video below, Morbius star Jared Leto says the movie offers "a different take on the Marvel universe, and it's a brand new character" who he's "super excited to share that with audiences."

Asked directly if fans can expect his Living Vampire to square off with Spider-Man at some point, the Oscar-winner responded: "Well, I would love to get in the ring with Spider-Man," Leto teased. "I think Tom Holland is amazing, and we'd make quite a dynamic duo, I guess."

With only a couple of weeks to go until Morbius is released, excitement is certainly building. Tickets actually went on sale yesterday, and a new Dolby poster for the movie has also arrived online!

"One of Marvel's most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius," reads the synopsis. "Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While it seems to be a success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil - or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious urges?"

The cast of Morbius also includes, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, , and Tyrese Gibson. After a number of delays, the movie finally arrives in UK cinemas on March 31 and in the U.S. on April 1.
