The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

I think I'm really going to like this film. Still don't like the stripes down the legs of the new suit, but that's really just nitpicking.

What's wrong with the site on mobile? Every time I click on an article it's fine for like 20 seconds then the article starts scrolling itself off the screen!

same thing happens the me i just to press the x in the top right corner when the page has loaded just enough, seems to work. I really like this costume, of course its different to the comic but its still 100% recognisable a spiderman. Cant wait for this.

Like the suit. Took me a while to like it though. After seeing the 10 minute sneak peak in 3D at KAPOW! this year, very much looking forward to this movie. And even though we haven't seen much of Uncle Ben, he has some very funny lines, especially the scene at the school when he's talking to Peter and Gwen bumps into them in the corridor. Uncle Ben is cool in this movie.

I've gotten used to the suit for a while now... But I still have some nitpicks about it... There should be more red on his costume, the red on his arms should be wider. The stripes on his legs are fine but they should have kept the belt line. Without the belt line, his costume looks [frick]ing ridiculous. I hope they do some adjustments and improvements to the costume for the sequel.

But like I said, these are just nitpicks. The costume itself won't ruin the film for me, much like Green Goblin back in 2002.

Can't wait for June 29!

Those are cool. In the second picture, it's uncanny how much Andrew Garfield looks like Peter Parker from the comics.

Why is anyone worried that TASM and TDKR won't be good...Seriously Begins and TDK were solid movies and this new Spiderman movie looks better (visually) than any of the previous spidey flicks

@teabag HAHAH! Love that Pic and so damn true. Movie looks good but IM still not sold on Parker. I know this is his becoming into Spider-Man, but they should have had hit hit the gym to give in some type of shape. He has not chest at all, arms or legs.

i'm never gonna get used to that suit, looks cheap. photo number 3 looks like the head gotten a little smaller and un proportionate, the neck should have been made shorter and not the head.lol

Don't mind the updated suit, but Garfield doesn't have the right build for it.

Apart from his anorexic body and giraffe neck the film looks pretty good.

suit still looks like shit to me , its not as bad as my first reactions to it , the leg strips and shit shoes are needless

the odd lense color and lack of belt are startin to subside with me

but if he fights and moves like spidey i can overlook it i suppose .

I can't stand the yellow eyes either. why can't they be white? What difference does it make if it's yellow?

I think the only complaint I'd have is the chest area has no muscle definition. Besides that, love the suit... even though these promos are boring as hell. O_o
