After a big announcement over the weekend that the new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer will premiere at a fan event in Los Angeles tomorrow, Sony Pictures has finally confirmed the next sneak peek will also debut online. That news came with a new poster, and while it's not the best effort we've seen for this franchise, it does an effective enough job of teasing what's to come.
Spider-Man and Doctor Strange are given the spotlight as the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus' arms, and Electro's yellow (!) electricity can all be seen closing in. In the background, we get a glimpse at the Mirror Dimension we know will be a focal point of a key action sequence in the movie.
Oh, and if you're disappointed with this poster (it's far from spectacular, we know), then just think about the sort of imagery that might be on the way once the movie's secrets are revealed. We're sure the curtain is going to be pulled back on at least some of them a little over 24 hours from now, anyway.
We're not sure when the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer will arrive, but you'll want to check back here tomorrow as we'll be keeping you updated. In the meantime, take a look at this poster below:
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero," reads the movie's synopsis. "When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man."
Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx.
Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
