We've known this was coming for a while, and Disney+ has today announced that six Spider-Man movies are launching on the U.S. version of the streaming platform this spring, starting tomorrow!
The first Spider-Man films, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, and The Amazing Spider-Man all swing onto the service starting April 21, with Spider-Man: Homecoming and Venom following on May 12.
We're assuming Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will all eventually follow, but this is a great start and titles many international subscribers have had access to for several months now. The wall-crawler's movies being available alongside the rest of the MCU's heroes is exciting, and this is the start of a long-term partnership between Sony Pictures and Disney+.
The press release notes that, "Additional titles from Sony Pictures' film and television library are expected to premiere on Disney+ in the U.S. later this year."
Marvel Studios hasn't announced plans for Spider-Man 4 yet and it's looking increasingly likely we won't see that movie next year. However, with CinemaCon right around the corner, there's a chance Sony is prepping the news for that Las Vegas-based event.
Which of these Spider-Man movies will you watch first?
