Indy star Chloe Sevigny let something slip to the Seattle Times that hints that the Black Cat might be in Spider-Man 3 and she’d be up for the role.

"I'd love to be in Spider-Man 3!" Sevigny told the newspaper. "There's a villain in it who's a blond, buxom girl, and I'm trying to get it!

Meanwhile, Thomas Haden Church, who has been cast as a villain in the third Spidey film, broke his silence about the film to the Houston Times.

"I like to keep my private stuff pretty vague," said Church, but did say "given my physical training for Spider-Man, they only want me to drink light beer."

The paper said: "Church has been in Los Angeles lately for wardrobe fittings and 'being in the mud all day. They did plaster casts of my body for prosthetics. They also wanted to cut my hair to get an idea for (computer) animators (to determine) what my look will be'."

Mud? Sounds like those Sandman rumors may be correct. Another possibility is Venom.

Church has been training at a gym in Kerrville and added Spider-Man 3 is "my biggest commitment so far in budgetary terms. It's pretty huge."
