KIR- I knew you'd like some Gerard with your morning toast LOL :P As for Morbius, i don't know who could render the character justice especially not making him campy as much as his concept is. Benicio is a great actor but i already sketched him as someone else. LOL, yes i posted this on Sunday. My girlfriend let's me use her scanner at her place which is also why i don't have time to chit chat... kinda busy doin' someone else. UH... i mean something else LOL :P

LEEE- Well after what he did in the last spidey film, i'm kinda hoping he delves into his "horror" basket and pulls out something to blow our minds even though the film's rating. So here's hoping that you're wrong about his Kraven :P

I like Kraven and the Lizard with Calypso included. McFarlane's storyline with them would be cool. But if not them, I have always liked Shocker for some reason and I think visually, that would be a great fight.

Thanks realfirst!!! Kraven alone wouldn't work in a feature film. In fact even with the lizard, it would highly depend on who would play him. He needs more than a good performance from a gifted actor. He needs his star to shine and i know for a fact that Butler has what it takes to bring a shitload of enthusiasm to Kraven. Brolin would just... i dunno, he yells out FLAT for me as Kraven. I heard someone else suggest Oded Ferr for Kraven but he would also be too flat of a Kraven.

Fivebees- I LOVE Shocker. But we all know he doesn't have the intelect to be a main villain. I put Shocker, Rhino and Scorpion in the same basket IMO. I love'em but as secondary only. And yes if they go with Kraven, they should go with Calypso.

LEEE- I haven't seen that either but you gotta admit, he does have talent in horror. He should definitely bring some aspects of that in spidey. Cause after SM3, he's gonna need it!!! And don't hate me but i LOVED the hell out of the Ultimate version of Electro. He really kicked ass :)) He could be one of the villains in SM5. Heck, i might sketch'em up soon :)) Not telling you who i'd choose of course LOL Not yet at least :P

Josh- This is where we'll disagree cause honestly, Scorpion has nothing for a feature film on his own. If that whole PI concept would be used as a foundation plot for the film, it would make it even lamer than SM3. This next one needs "substence" that Scorpion couldn't bring even if it's existance depended on it. I like Scorpion and all but when was he ever in a cleaver story on his own??? And Papajohn isn't a sure thing yet. They said he will probably return. He's in "talks" which last time i checked, didn't mean shit in Hollywood. And he was so quick to open his mouth about it that it could very well come back to bite him on the ass as it has happened before to other actors. But thanks for the compliment LOL I knew you liked Brolin :P And i do agree that Brolin has the look. That pic you posted of him looked pretty good :) As for Electro, another good cast of course, Foster's an amazing actor but i would choose another. I feel that Foster captures the regular Electro's personnality as you have shown above but i'll pic one for the Ultimate Electro which really blew my mind :) It probably will be my next sketch... i dunno :P

The sketch looks awesome! You did it again Shaman :D. As for Scorpion, i think we shouldn't underestimate him. Isn't the scorpion the natural enemy of the spider huhuh ^^. So who know what they might do. But lizard and kraven is the obvious choise for this movie. Although i think Raime would do great with Morbius.

Ohw and as for the movie: Dragged to hell, it's a cool flick. Pretty frightning at times. I now have nightmares that the ghost of an old teethless woman will come and puke bugs over me. I know that's pretty [frick]ed up :D.

Spilox- I think Scorpion could be USED in a cleaver way... but i feel it has never been done before. In short, it would mean taking Scorpion and making him a brand new character, from Raimi's own concocktion, which would pretty much have all the fans pissing all over him. So that's why i really don't think Raimi'll even come within 100 yards of MacGargan. But you never know, who'd a thought he'd pull what he did in SM3 to begin with. And if there ever was a director that could make Morbius, Raimi's the guy. But that character always leaves a campyness in my mouth when he's around spidey. He's better for a 4th Blade film IMO even though he's meant to be in the Spidey continuity. Cool comment about Drag Me To Hell :))

Vic M- That's funny dude, but in truth all my sketches come from my boners LOL :P When i feel that a certain actor is perfect for a certain role, i sketch'em :) But i wouldn't cast Butler as just ANY character. I just feel he fits Kraven to a "T" :) Thanks for taking the time to reed and to actually picture the actor as the role!!! And i also feel kinda teary thinking about it. With Lizard, Kraven,Calysto and everything not only would that be highly deep but it is enough to not have to warrant Peter's love life for a change. I mean, mere bits of MJ distancing herself and Gwen getting a tad closer would be sufficient this time around :) Peter's love life is important but it shouldn't be the main plot ya know. To a certain extent, i feel it almost makes the villains kinda secondary. And that's just sad...

I just tried emailing you as well with no luck. Dude, your art is bad ass. Have you ever thought about doing a full frontal type piece. Over at IESB.net they have some dude who draws up full frontal comic strips ( a one page kind of thing) dogging out industry idiots. I know for sure that would make front page news and that puts CBM in the same league as IESB.net. Let me know what you think?

Thanks Jman :)) Actually, i'm working hard on molding my style for a comic book i'd like to draw. But i've always felt that my art kinda lacks... "dynamism" in the fighting area. I guess practice makes perfect. And i'm not that good at drawing lizards unfortunitely. I did submit a fight scene on the "Hulk Vs." contest you guys had a while back that is posted in my galeries. Roar- Thanks dude, after what you said about my Apocalypse sketch, i really didn't know if i ever could top it :)) You know, i was also unsure of what people would think of my "cat eyes" i added to Gerard. Cause normally, Kraven doesn't have them but i personnaly felt it "added" to the "vision" of an updated character. And if you look closely at the teaser image for this article, it's the very picture i used for the sketch and there were no teeth showing. I drew them myself hoping that it would still look like Gerard in the end. I'm glad it did cause "teeth" do it all in a portrait. They are litterally part of a person's charm and protrayal and they could make the drawing look "not a thing" like the actual person!!!

Oooooh, that actually means alot to me :)) Adkins was a good pic as well. But Butler has that "animal" pheromone about him i dunno. It's one of those pics that just "feel" right ;P Thanks Myth, glad you like :))

Kraven is a BORING character

If they don't bring Venom back

It should be Lizard or one of the following

1.Carnage
2.Kingpin
3.Scorpion
4.Mysterio
5.Chameleon
6.Electro

All 6 characters are better and more interesting characters than Kraven.

yeah, i could definatley see Gerard Butler as Kraven the hunter. He'd make a cool villan along with Lizard. If Kraven is in spidey 4 then i would love to see them somehow get the " kraven's last hunt " story line going for spidey 5

A Venom spinoff would TANK at the box office, especially if Spidey is not appearing in it and they are wasting Carnage in a Venom movie, I would rather see Carnage in a Spidey Movie.

SpideyFan1982- Yeah, i really don't see the Venom movie raking in the bucks. And there wouldn't be a point to Carnage without Venom and especially without Spidey. Carnage would slightly fit better in a Venom film but that would tank as you say. Spidey and Carnage alone? It would be SM3 all over again IMO. They'll want to keep fresh. I really don't think we'll ever get to see Carnage at all.
