The return of director Sam Raimi, as well as leads Tobey Maguire and Kirstin Dunst, is still uncertain; however, Sony is in talks with David Koepp, the screenwriter for the first Spider-Man movie, to develop the screenplay for Spider-Man 4. Commence with the conjecture ...

Have we seen the last of Venom? Will Dr. Curt Connors stop teasing us and make the transformation into Lizard? There are many villains at Koepps disposal who have yet to make an appearance: Mysterio, Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, dare I say, Carnage.

As much fun as it would be to speculate on who should be next in line to play the part of Peter Parker's provocateur, we must proceed one at a time. Let's at least wait to see how Spider-Man 3 ends. There will be time enough for inferences to satisfy our fancy.
