Maguire has reportedly been dragging his feet about returning to the superhero role, and Raimi is quoted as saying, "I've Had it up to here with that spoiled bastard! I made him a star!" On advice from friend Joss Whedon, Raimi has cast Nicolas Brendon, the wise cracking member of the Scooby gang on BTVS--a Whedon joint.
