Another Promo For Tonight's THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 NYE Celebrations

Later tonight in Times Square, we'll be getting (what promises to be) a Hell of a show and some new footage from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In the meantime, here's another promo featuring the actor playing Spidey jerking his head and hands about the place.

You can keep an eye on the countdown over at the Enemies Unite website by clicking on the image of Harry Osborn (Dane DeHann) below.

"We've always known that Spider-Man's most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp."

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters May 2nd, 2014.

@Tyrus

Spider-Man has become a much more impacting and relate-able icon to all audiences much more than Cap or Supes. He has also become one of the most well known and widespread among the world. Rivaling even Supes and Batz. His relateability is much more than the other two giving him much more of a heartfelt presence to everyone.

@Jollem...
most fans of Captain America are either from the 30's-50's or from the past 5 years lol.what a small demographic, seniors and children. I only know 1 guy who actually liked Cap more than the other avengers, and that was for very ridiculous reasons.

I guess this is cool but i dont see the point. I think it's too much self promotion for the film of TASM 2.

What should happen for NYE in New York is have The Avengers, X-men and the F4 come out and perform a dance party.

"people have only known about cap for about 5 years, tho"

That's a load of crap. Cap has been around since the 40's. While he may not have achieved the popularity of Spider-Man or Superman, he is still a character people are familiar with.

I will be 40 next month and I have loved Cap for as long as I can remember. Always prefer Wonder Woman (my absolute fave), yet I have always thought Cap was one of the better Marvel characters...
