New Banner For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2; Another Trailer In 2 Days?

Sony Pictures has released yet another new promo banner from Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man sequel, along with the announcement that we'll be getting something new from the movie in a couple of days. Could it be another full trailer? Check it out after the jump.

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, and Sally Field, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to hit theaters on May 2, 2014.

The third trailer didn't show any new footage right? Just recycled footage from the sizzle reel. As long as it doesn't spoil the movie or include too many new scenes it'd be cool. We still haven't gotten a proper look at rhino

It will probably be the trailer that was released last week, then taken down after a couple hours. The trailer didn't give anything new away, just recycled clips from the other two trailers, so this is okay.

They have already revealed the whole story.
They have show us the origin of elektro, all the cameos, the death of Gwen, the horrible Green Goblin. What they can show us now? All about Rhino?

@Pheez

I wish they would have kept Green Goblin a secret. That would have blown my mind if he popped up in the movie unexpected.

Marketing is more than trailers. X-Men DOFP have been doing great marketing. I'm positive we're getting a trailer at the end of this month or early March.

Meanwhile the marketing for this movie is a tad bit much. I'm surprised we haven't got clips yet.

Unfortunately, a lot of modern day trailers give away too much. Most action films will show a few brief scenes from the final "showdown" scene, which I prefer to know nothing about until I actually see the film.

So sad... Everyone thinking sony is doing something wrong. Guys like us may think we've seen too much, but a lot of that stems from our fanatical analyzing of every bit of info that comes out on movies. The general public has no clue what they've been shown, they don't know Gwen might die, they don't know that Harry is the Goblin, they don't know what the Rhino is. Sony is marketing to the GA, not us. Remember that.
MercwithMouth
MercwithMouth - 2/22/2014, 2:14 PM
@Anno

Not at all. But for the most part, the GA doesn't care like we do. They haven't seen all the pics and banners that we have, they likely have no idea how many trailers have been released. They see a trailer on tv, cool. They see a longer one at the theatre, even cooler. It literally is just us that thinks it's too much. We're the only ones that know Gwen's outfit foreshadows her death. The only people that know that Harry could be the Goblin have read the comics. A lot might not even know that Rhino is a Rhino.
