Report On Russian Mob Activity On THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Daily Bugle Viral Site

Latest Daily Bugle article posted on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 viral Tumblr page, discusses the connection between Russian mob activity and the spike in crime. This is of course related to Paul Giamatti's Aleksei Sytsevich character, who is a Russian mobster.

With reports of Russian mob activity at an all-time high in the city, many have wondered who these (mostly) men are and what they are trying to accomplish. New Yorkers are no strangers to organized crime, but this time it seems different.

Gregarious, boastful men fill the Brighton beach night scene — every single one of them with a spectacular guttural baritone voice that makes one wonder if there are any gangster tenors.

Mob activity is the suspected cause of a spike in crime across all five boroughs. Not content with hijacking retails goods, sports betting, or drugs, more crime families have become involved in high-tech crimes such as the theft of microchips, processors, experimental metal alloys, and advanced weaponry.

Fancy Dan Brito said during his arraignment for the recent Brighton Beach shootout, “Everything has a price. Including the head of so-called superheroes.”

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

These Daily Bugle viral things are pretty cool. I wonder if Man of Steel 2 is going to do something similar with The Daily Planet.

J. K. Simmons was the best casting choice in a cbm ever! Nobody will ever top his J. Jonah Jameson! They should get him back, just like they did with M at James Bond.

Nobody else is worthy of playing J. Jonah but J.K. Simmons.

Simons' portrayal of Jamson is equivalent to Ledger as Joker. Tough act to follow.

THis film completely lost me with the last teaser poster. How did they get Spidey's suit so right and EVERYBODY else so freakin wrong? I thought I'd hate ASM, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a DC guy, but any CBM that succeeds is good for the genre, and I hope this isn't the train wreck I fear is coming.

J.K.Simmons was excellent as J.Jonah Jameson,he captured the essence of the character from the comics perfectly and it's why I think the character's not featured in the new movies, who can do as good of a portrayal of J.J. than Simmons.

The viral for this film is the best I've seen in the superhero genre since The Dark Knight's. Pumped for whatever they are putting out in the Time Square's New Year's Eve event!

"I think the Big man running the Russian mob organizations is the Chameleon.

And the guy over him is the kingpin Himself.

Maybe they could not use the Kingpin, because they wanted to save that for the Daredevil series, and went with the big man (Maybe Chameleon because of Russian connection)"

@goldenOne- I would like this idea. And maybe somehow they can tie in Tombstone and possibly a version of Hammerhead or something? That'd be crazy.lol

People are going to start using this type of advertising now. Look for MoS to use daily planet. And for the avengers to use something as well... Perhaps national statements by Stark. Idk but we will see something.

That would be cool if people actually gave a shit about Kingpin. But no one really cares about a big brute in a white suit.
