Deathstroke has slowly grown into a character that everyone has become aware about. Whether it was during your childhood growing up with Teen Titans; or recently with the hit show Arrow. More and more people want to see that black and orange mercenary on their screens. So it’s safe to assume that Deathstroke is becoming so popular that he may yet to see the light of the big screen; especially considering recent speculations that there is casting for the role of Slade Wilson for DC's latest upcoming film Suicide Squad. Well if this character has flourished in popularity so much in the last decade; who is to say we won’t be seeing a solo movie in the horizon? If done in the right way, with the right director, and the right casting; it could be done! Well, a youtuber by the name of GravityBone in collaboration with several other channels (links in video) has created a looking glass into another elseworld. Not only do we get the arsenal of Deathstroke, but a casting of Slade Wilson as the Academy award winning Sean Penn. This is probably due to the actors’ age and current build that has his portrayal as the world greatest mercenary so convincing in this fan made trailer.

Description: This gives us a in depth look into Slades origins in the military and the life changing experiment that made him into an unstoppable force. With his abilities of being a master at combat and his healing factor; Slade becomes a leader of a banned of mercenaries in Eurasia. Inevitably, Argus gets a lock of his where about and Amanda Waller is tasked to go deal with this terrorist threat. Unfortunately for her, she has no idea the potential threat that Slade is over Argus with their intel being compromised. This leads into the future of Deathstrokes travels, leading him to Gotham, were more trouble will await him...

I hope you all enjoyed this look into a possible future for the DC franchise. When it comes to DC Comics there is a je ne sais quoi about their films. Possibly due to their lack of sticking to one formula, they are always trying to change the look and feel of everything that they do, sometime for the better, other times for the worse. It's just nice to be along for the ride, and nice to see the liveliness in the community to see more done. There are endless multiverses where anyone of these heroes and villains could have a shot at winning audiences affection. Just please DC, never do it for the toys again, it never works when it’s for the toys. Till next time everybody!
