As you can see in the Tweets below, tickets for Suicide Squad go on sale in the US next Friday. They'll be available in the UK on Tuesday. What this means is that in a couple of weeks, we'll have an idea of just how interested moviegoers are in the DC Comics adaptation from director David Ayer, though many box office analysts are actually already predicting that it will be the movie which saves the summer.
Time will tell on that front, but you can definitely feel the excitement increasing as we get closer to the release of Suicide Squad. The movie will have a huge presence at Comic-Con and there's a lot of speculation that a final trailer could be with us next week. If so, what do you want to see in it?
It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis, and Ben Affleck, Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016. Are you looking forward to the movie? As always, be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.
