Will The Flash Make A Cameo Appearance In SUICIDE SQUAD?

David Ayer's Suicide Squad is made up of some the greatest villains DC Comics has to offer, and almost all of them are from Batman's rogues gallery. However, there is one squad member that mainly finds himself going up against a certain Scarlet Speedster when he's not busy being forced to save the world. With Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) making his DC Film Universe debut in Suicide Squad, fans have been wondering: Will The Flash (Ezra Miller) be making an appearance in the film similar to that of the Dark Knight's?

A few weeks ago, a rumor surfaced that Ezra Miller's Flash would make a cameo appearance in David Ayer's Suicide Squad through Captain Boomerang's origin story. Well, it looks like that rumor may have been true. The new Justice League Comic-Con footage featured our first look at The Flash in action, revealing that every time he runs, he releases an incredible amount of energy in the form of lightning strikes.

After the release of the final Suicide Squad trailer, fans were able to analyze the footage and eventually find a moment that showcases Captain Boomerang robbing a bank and being thwarted by The Flash. As you can see below, the lightning effect seen in the Justice League trailer seems to be in play in the Boomerang origin scene, hinting at the possibility of the hero's cameo in the film. What do you think about the possibility of seeing more than one member of the Justice League in Suicide Squad?

Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5th, 2016.

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, with Raymond Olubawale as King Shark, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Common as Monster T, and Adam Beach as Slipknot. Written and directed by David Ayer.
