I don't get the hate about man of steel except that maybe the last fight was too destructive and long. 1. Superman killing Zod was totally justified. 2. There being no Kryptonite doesn't [frick]ing matter since its essentially just a plot device! And there basically was Kryptonite since when he stepped onto the Kryptonian ship he passed out and choked up blood. 3. Do you want more character development or less? I can't tell seeing as this movie presented Clark with pathos and made you understand his motives and desicions and still had crazy action sequences.

Praetorian: the one who hates it either a fanatic of the Donner era who can't let go that version of Supes and think that that is the version of be all of end all.
Or the dc haters, blind marvel fanatics, anti nolan/snyder, or just plain hatred to the Big Blue.

Secondly, those who doesn't familiar with this kinda approach in storytelling which i thought ia very refreshing and bold to do in an origin story of cbm. The non linear storyline which is very challenging and challenge the audience to focus and pay attention to the predicament, the motivation, the emotional responses of each character. Once you piece it together, it was really a blast and revelation after revelation of the themes, messages, the story, the drama, the sci-fi aspects, every visual languages and metaphors, even the massive epic adventure and action are there to be discovered again and again.

This movie is brilliant when and if we want to dig and discover the meanings of the story, not only for Clark's journey but also for us as a human.

Movie is amazing. These guys at Cinema Sins and Honest Trailers are a waste of time and webspace. Anybody can take a movie and nit pick it to death, thereby insulting the writers and actors who do something that they don't have the stones to try for themselves. How it Should Have Ended is fantastic. It points out real plotholes without insulting the fans of the movie or the hundreds of people involved with it. I'll admit that they are sometimes funny, but often times the nitpicks, especially with cinema sins, are easily answerable and just take a little thinking to explain since they're not overtly shown or explained
