It has been confirmed that Child actor Cooper Timberline will be playing a younger Clark Kent in the Reboot.

From Styleweekly..

“Meeting the actors was really fun,” says Timberline, who’s prohibited from divulging details of the production.

Timberline is an old hand on Richmond stages, making a flash of an appearance in Theatre IV’s “The Sword and the Stone” when he was a few months old. Soon after he turned 7 he played little brother Randy Parker in Theatre IV’s “A Christmas Story.

Jumping from stage to screen was “easier than you might think,” Timberline says. Adjustments included toning down how he expressed emotions, he says: “I just took what I did in theater and divided it by like a hundred.”

With more voices on set contributing ideas, he learned to listen closely to everyone. And with less rehearsal and more intense focus on one scene at a time, he says, “You have to think more on your feet.”

What do you think it means with the casting of all these young actors? Looks like there will be a heavy feature of Clark Kent's childhood. Or if not, it will be used most likely in flashback scenes throughout the film...

What you you guys think? Leave your thoughts at the usual place!

I'd rather not dwell too much on the childhood. Birthright skipped most of it and I didn't feel like I was really missing out.

Then they're going to cast Clark Kent as the mental image of the planned child Jor-El has as he's banging his wife

Like Batman Begins, right? Start with Bruce in Asia, and tell his story from childhood to the moment he decided to run away

So MOS would have an adult Clark Kent, then tell his story from an infant in Krypton leading up to the present

Glad we're having another origins story, I think there are still some people on the planet who haven't memorised Baby Kal El crashing into a field in Kansas.

I think it's good; the more 'young Clark's' they cast means they will probably be showing a montage of him growing up to freelance reporter Clark and show several of his key developments, like using his powers for the first time. We'll have a baby Clark in Krypton and first Earth scenes, im sure I saw set pics in Plano of Snyder filming in a kindergarten too, we have this kid who will be 9year old Clark, and another actor Dylan Sprayberry who's playing 13year old Clark with Lana and Pete, and then Cavill will probably play himself from 18up.

Contrary to geeky belief, not everybody knows Superman's back story. Also, this will be the dark, edgy, superslowmotion, the ship will have abs and shit, version

@rbfn04 you sound like a really old comic book fan - which is very cool. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you and how long have you been a comic book fan?
