This unique companion book offers a rich selection of materials, from concept art and behind-the-scenes set photography to director commentary and interviews with key creatives, unlocking the secrets behind giving new life to an immortal hero.

Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill as Superman. Also appearing are three-time Oscar® nominee Amy Adams (The Fighter) as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, and Oscar® nominee Laurence Fishburne (What’s Love Got to Do with It) as her editor-in-chief, Perry White. Starring as Clark Kent’s adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent, are Oscar® nominee Diane Lane (Unfaithful) and Academy Award® winner Kevin Costner (Dances with Wolves).

Squaring off against the superhero are two other surviving Kryptonians, the villainous General Zod, played by Oscar® nominee Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road), and Faora, Zod’s evil partner, played by Antje Traue. Also from Superman’s native Krypton are Lara Lor-Van, Superman’s mother, played by Ayelet Zurer, and Superman’s father, Jor-El, portrayed by Academy Award® winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator). still not sold on that one. New trailer was good, but Lois narration almost killed the whole experience for me. The dialogue was bad.

"how do you find someone who spend a lifetime covering his tracks ?
For some he was a guardian angel. For others, a ghost, he never quite fit in"

That's not journalism.

Hoping it's not the last scene dialogue. Like in Dark Knight.

You aren't very familiar with journalism huh jerryblake? Considering you aren't happy with a single line, that could easily be ripped out of a thousand pulitzer prize winning essays. Might I recommend in college (I'm assuming you haven't been yet), that you take a journalism class, or even a writing class (which in many states is mandatory). Your opinion would carry more weight and credibility if you did.

I'm not happy because the lines where bad as hell. I may be mistaken about the journalism, but really ... It remind me that last scene speech from Dark Knight. "because he is not a hero. He is a silent protector. Watchful guardian. A Dark Knight" Oh, please.

(I'm talking only about Lois narration, not every dialogue in the trailer)

Why does the coloring of book have the proper blue,red & yellow tones.
It looks good but why isn't the color all dark & muddy like the costume?

They are giving a Pulitzer Prize for this kind of writing ? I'm not so sure about this.

this is an example of good writing :

"Um, it's a hard grape to grow, as you know. Right? It's uh, it's thin-skinned, temperamental, ripens early. It's, you know, it's not a survivor like Cabernet, which can just grow anywhere and uh, thrive even when it's neglected. No, Pinot needs constant care and attention. You know? And in fact it can only grow in these really specific, little, tucked away corners of the world. And, and only the most patient and nurturing of growers can do it, really. Only somebody who really takes the time to understand Pinot's potential can then coax it into its fullest expression. Then, I mean, oh its flavors, they're just the most haunting and brilliant and thrilling and subtle and... ancient on the planet"

don't want to spoil the meaning of this dialogue. All i can say is that's it's from "Sideways"

@jerryblake
The lines are fine. Just want to try hard to find something to gripe about and then say you are wrong about the journalism part. Just go and find something else worth complaining about because that is not it for you sir.
