I love the costume design but always hated the color tone. Nice banner.

Best movie of next year! Those colors do look great in these pics. I hope after editing, they will be closer to this.

Not the movie the world deserves, but the one it needs right now.

Too bad the colors probably won't look like that in the movie. We'll see though...

@Leddy You can't exactly say that until the movie's come out. Even then, it's all a matter of opinion.

Just saying. :)

@DrHorrible, just a joke, lol. Put the vid at 1:00 :P

Anws, I'm really looking forward to watch this movie.
Most anticipated one for 2013, imo.

@Leddy I know. lol. I was just kidding. Even though there is some truth in my comment.

By the way, how did ManOfSuperguy get this on main with no thumbs up and with him being a non-editor?

Just wondering. Thanks. :)

Awesome. I'm actually watching Blade, right now. That movie really was the first cbm to come out after Batman & Robin and Spawn and before X-Men. Blade was like the secret game-changer. Only the fans knew that it was a cbm, which was kinda cool, at the time (a time when geeks were still persecuted and put into camps).
Oh and Dark City is a masterpiece.
Can't wait for Man of Steel.

Those colours look outstanding! Shame they won't do a post production computer tweek on the colour of the suit. I'd love for this Superman movie to work but I don't hold much hope out for it. I just hope he's not as mopey as Superman Returns or the trailer for Man of Steel shows him. Isn't Superman meant to be a symbol of hope not the poster boy for slitting your wrists?

@DukeAcureds

I confirm your statement about Dark City being a masterpiece. Btw, I just recently watched The Adjustment Bureau with the wife; a complete and utterly shameless ripoff of Dark City (and not a particularly good one at that).

@fettastic

I agree that Goyer is very hit or miss but according to Patton Oswalt, a large part of the blame for the abortion that is Blade: Trinity can be attributed to the studio's meddling and Snipes being a bit of a diva.

@aztecRaingod why don't you come up with a story for superman a guy who can pretty much do anything and is the most loving person in the universe with no flaws at all. He has no weakness except for kryptonite and there are only so many villains that he can fight. I you try to darken him at all than its just no Superman. That is probably why he is the toughest superhero to bring to the screen. I mean look at Superman Returns. They darken superman and made possibly a more dummer film than the richard pryor movie.

It really sucks that you can't see video on either iPhone or iPad. Does anyone know why this is? It didn't used to be like that.

i don't know why most people here want the colors to be brighter and more "red". i think the color is just fine. by the looks of it, the suit is gonna be some kind of a kryptonian battle suit or something, and as we all know, no man, kryptonian or otherwise would want to go into battle looking like a candy floss.

if wb is goin ahead with the justice league flick, involving Man of Steel, then i hope Goyer would be the designated Mark Millar guy for WB/DCE, instead of Geoff Johns.

It's only "difficult" because movie mmakers are still stuck on Chris Reeves from the 1970's. (B. Singer)

JL won't happen. WB can't even make a decent Green Lantern film. How can they make a team based movie?

@Dgabbor2

I wasn't aware that Adjustment Bureau was based on a PHD novel. That said, if the movie was faithful to the original novel (i.e. angels with magic hats) then Dark City is an improvement on the source material, imo.

Goyer also wrote for Black ops 2 and (while not as gripping a story as something like Arkham city, Bioshock, or Elder Scrolls) the villain Raul Menendes was one awesome villain and the multiple options for how the story plays out are really cool
