We previously heard that a Man Of Steel novelization from Titan Books was confirmed for a June release, and there has also been confirmation of a comic book tie-in of sorts to director Zack Snyder's Superman reboot (with Scott Snyder and Jim Lee working on the new Man Of Steel ongoing series, which isn't related to the film itself). Now, via ComicBook.com, we have some info on yet another tie-in book. According to the site, a companion book titled Man Of Steel: Inside The Legendary World Of Superman by author Daniel Wallace will be released on June 14th, the same day that the movie hits theaters. The book is 160 pages and hardcover, and according to the description, it "offers an intimate look at the reinvention of the world’s most iconic superhero through the eyes of acclaimed director Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) and producer Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Trilogy)." The book will reportedly feature concept art, behind-the-scenes set photography, director commentary and interviews with key creatives. Insight Editions will publish the book, which has a suggested list price of $45. Stay tuned to CBM for more details for Man Of Steel: Inside The Legendary World Of Superman.

Man Of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Russell Crowe. The film is set to hit theaters June 14th this year.

Pretty penny for a comic book. I guess the extra 40 some-odd dollars must be for all the other stuff.

Oh well, gonna get it probably!

I honestly can't wait but on a totally different subject I watched Dredd earlier and it is unexpectedly very good, urban has never been better and I recommend ppl to rent or buy so we can get a sequel. It was poor marketing that never gave this film a chance.

i like that the paperback novel and the coffee table book are released at the time of the movie- NOT before the movie like what usually happens and spoilers get out there and the imagery gives a possibly misleading impression.
