George Miller Reveals Whether Or Not He Will Direct MAN OF STEEL 2

George Miller will do his sequel to Fury Road.

He ain't prolific like Ridley Scott. Rather see him do a sequel TO HIS OWN FRANCHISE.

We live in a "what have you done lately" world.

And it's how opinions work. A little time & new, different perspectives/evidence (films/shows) can do wonders. hahaha

Would not be surprised if he was announced to direct a DC property at some point.

That's kind of my point though. I'm in no way discrediting or question what George Miller has done with Mad Max, that's far from my point. Miller with Mad Max & Miller with a DC project would be apples & oranges.

Miller created the Mad Max universe & he's had decades to develop, grow & fine-tune this world. It was 15 yrs. from his Fury Road storyboard until the movie was made. He had A LOT of time to have every aspect of the movie thoroughly thought out & developed, so when it was finally green lit, he hit the ground running. He's said to have ideas for 2-4 more Mad Max movies & believe Hardy is signed on for three or four more Mad Max films. Those ideas he's likely been developing & thinking about for years.

However, with a DC project, it'd be a much quicker turn around. Depending on the project, at most he might have a couple years to come up with the idea for the movie, draft the story/script and make the film. While he's had multiple years to just develop the story/script & brainstorm how he'd shoot the film/scenes.

I'm not questioning Miller's talent, I'm suggesting/questioning whether Miller's work might be best when he has more time to develop & work on his movies. I'm speculating that a DC project might not be in his or WB/DC's best interest, bc Miller might be best when he has more time than what WB/DC might be able to provide for him if he takes on a DCEU film. I could be entirely wrong & my concerns are all for naught, but there's no way of knowing for certain right now.
