Zack Snyder's Man of Steel is merely 6 months away and the highly secretive project has begun its media tour starting with the French magazine Journaux. Man of Steel's trailer will be attached to The upcoming WB studios movie The Hobbit and will be 2 minutes and 20 seconds long.

He looks like Curt Swans and Jim Lee's Superman...at once...with a touch of Alex Ross (if he was a bit younger). Nobody today can even come close to touching Cavill when it comes to the resemblance of the character. And his jawline is the most impressive of all the Superman actors. He's got that Curt Swan jaw down to a T.

The shine of the suit still throws me off, as do the darkness/dirtiness of it...especially the yellow.

He still looks 'bad ass' though. Very excited that things are finally moving forward on this movie.

We need to stop saying "A New Image of Henry Cavill as Superman," and just go on with, "A New Image of Superman," everytime instead.

You people need to remember that the suit will (and already does) look different from picture to picture (in terms of coloring/reflection) outside of the movie and movie stills. Wait until next week and the trailer/screengrabs, THEN judge the suit.

Thats wierd in the more recent images the yellow was replaced by black but here it isnt... so which is it?

Absolutely incredible. This movie is going to be what we have all been waiting for. The action of the Avengers with the character development of TDK series. I have wanted to see this guy as Supes since The Count of Monte Cristo! He is going to own it!

Its ok if his suit is a little shiny, it should be. He is suppose to be a knight in shining armor here to save the day. I am a huge Superman fan, and have been sense the day I was born. My first outfit that I could fit in, I was a huge baby, had Superman one it. I can not wait for this movie. All I want is to see him throw a punch.

No,we won't all be focused on Superman for the next six months! There's a whole bunch of other movies out there too that I can't wait to see. Superman is just one of many. Looks ok though.

Every magazine is going to use their own color correction. Here they are use a form of bleach bypass and high contrast. So don't really just the blue or whatever because Snyder-s style will probably be different. It's doubtful he wants Clark to look like a man who needs a serious tan.

As for the yellow. It's simply that yellow is a bright color. Blue and read are easier to control but that one area of yellow can throw the mood off. So they have been desaturating the yellow. Though keep in mind it wasn't that bright to begin with but still, it does make things screwy.

Yellow is typically the first to go when artists get free reign to redesign Supes.
