@BooYa- NICE find dude!

The sets really are coming along nicely...I just hope filming will actually begin next week as planned. This film NEEDS to have some serious progress made on it.

@lp4 Thanks man and some other news is that there will be a scene where Superman flys through an iHop sign I didnt know if anyone wanted me to post the pictures of the iHop or not.

@BooYa- Yeah I read the iHop news article on here a few weeks ago i think.

So he flies through an ihop sign i'm guessing perhaps when he is younger and just discovering his powers for the first time. Maybe...obviously that's the first time he discovered he could fly...?

BooYah - 7/23/2011, 9:25 PM
@Lp4 Yeah that would make sense I dont see another reason Superman would break a sign without it being an accident.

Why are they building a set, I live in Kansas and their are a bunch of small towns that look just like their set just a use a small town. Yes Superman, Dorthy and Pizza Hut all came from Kansas O and White Castle
Nemeres
Nemeres - 7/23/2011, 9:49 PM
Awesome. I love the signs on the window ("Internet", lol), makes the town seem more realistic than it ever was on the TV show. Good Grodd, I just can't wait. It's taken since 2005 to get this feeling back: a new Superman movie is in the making. Wow.

@BooYa- Yeah so at least that kinda gives us a glimpse of what to expect in MOS.

@Nemeres- Good point you brought up, they are definitely going a more modern route with this film and it's evident with this set.

Not going to lie. I misread the article's title as Man of Steel Photos, missing the set part. I thought I was going to see the costume or something. Oh well, these pics are pretty cool too. :)

Pictures 3 & 4 are a current 7-11 building plan. I recognize that anywhere. Perhaps they will have one of our ATMs in the film as well. Neat.

Little misleading there..thought I was goin to see Cavil in action or somthing

I don't understand why people get excited about set photos. They are boring unless they actually show something that is important to the movie. Like characters in costume, the actors, a specific location like the kent's farm. This is boring and tells me nothing.

@ajax2- No offense man but what you wrote-

"BORING DISAPPOINTMENT"

That is a clear description of Bryan Singer's "Superman Returns" movie. THAT film was a boring disappointment.

btw- I fixed your spelling ;D

IS the name Ezra significant? It seems familiar for some reason, but Google is giving me nothing.

Since when is an abandon warehouse and a 711 parkinglot exciting. 7-11 doesnt seem very smallvilly. Are they trying to make it look like something else?

I've never seen Henry Cavill until I saw him on a movie last night, Whatever Works. He was so good! and so charming! <3 he's a pretty good actor , I wish he'd have his british accent .. damn, he has a nice voice. AND he's very very very handsome.

But be careful about voicing your honest/truthful opinion on this site. People will report you, it happens all the time here.

Again though dude I agree with you.

I don't know how I missed this post. Great find. I think that this also confirms my suspicions that they are doing a portion of "For All Seasons". The barber shop, the gas stations, the tornado shooting rumors, the destroyed set buildings... That all follows the story line pretty closely. Makes perfect sense. Also, "For All Seasons" is one of my favorite series of all time. I hope that's what they're doing.
