If they're trying to take on a realistic approach to Superman which they keep saying they're going to do. How in the world is even possible for him to have the alter ego of Clark. Because if they're going for realism that glasses disguise simply cannot work LOL. I mean it was already the worst disguise ever, but if you want to be realistic it's even more ludicrous.

Getting Clark Kent right is as important as getting Superman right. You can skimp on just about any 'true identity' from comics when doing a film except CK, Peter Parker, and maybe Bruce Wayne, but on film BW always seems to take a back seat eventually. I have to wonder why any director would not want to fully realize CK. Not as much of a bumbler as Chris Reeve played him, certainly, but he's got to be there to show Supes can be more than human but still one of us.

I always thought that until I read a Batman comic where he was saying that Clark was easier to hide his secret identity than Bruce because he was wearing clothes too big for him, raising his voice of an octave and other stuff...

Let me come back too you I thought the way it was explained was awesome

First, they're not going for a dead on realistic approach. It's a more realistic approach. It's the emotions and the psychology and the Earth reacting to first contact from alien life that's more realistic. It'll be the physics of the powers on Earth that'll be more realistic.

As for the identity, he's able to get away with it, oddly enough, for the same reason Luthor doesn't know it. It's the ability to fathom that Superman even has a secret identity. It's just hard to imagine that someone so god-like wouldn't want to revel in their powers 24/7 and bask in the glow of being Superman all the time.

The idea that someone like that would so desperately want be "one of us" is just not the most obvious conclusion to jump to, particularly if you don't know he's been among us all his life and has grown up rather humble. The world comes to see Superman as Superman, not the identity Clark develops in order to use his powers to help the world so he can go back to being Clark at the end of the day. That's the ludicrous notion, not the other way around.

As soon as he ends up at the Planet, with glasses as his only disguise, I'm out. That is, without a doubt, the worst of all superhero story lines. Make him a crabber or a fisherman or a homeless dude, just don't make him a nerd.
