We Finally Get The Superman We've All Been Waiting For In Awesome MAN OF STEEL 2 Fan-Made Trailer

There's still no word on when Man of Steel 2 will be released, but a very cool fan-made trailer has surfaced which will make you wish it was real as Henry Cavill's Superman battles Brainiac and Metallo.

With Zack Snyder busy with Justice League, a low budget thriller, and possibly even Justice League 2, if the filmmaker does take the helm of a Man of Steel sequel, it means we'll be waiting a very long time for it to happen. The movie was announced way back when Warner Bros. announced their DC Films slate, but we've heard nothing official since then other than the fact that is indeed still in the works.

It will happen eventually, but for now, we have this awesome fan-made trailer (via WGTC) for a follow-up titled Man of Tomorrow. Injecting some much needed optimism into the franchise, it pits Superman against Brainiac and Metallo, something fans have been waiting a very long time to see on the big screen. If only it were real, eh? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this video below.

That was actually a really well done fan-edit.

Good on the creator!

Honestly, it wasn't a really well done fan-edit in my honest opinion.

The visual effects changes are minor, a majority is fairly basic. The trailer primarily consisted of overly used clips from popular trailers. There was not a single shot that wasn't from a recent film.

To me a fan-trailer shouldn't make you think 'why is Wade Wilson / Ryan Reynolds on a gurney' OR 'why am i watching the attack scene from Battleships'.

Certain times it works, such as using the Prometheus alien from the back from a distance. They just needed to find clips from less recognisable movies or alter them enough so it didn't immediately just make me realise I'm watching something from another film.

@MrDandy - Yeah but it doesn't address the real problem with the DC movie U, which is a glum Superman that never smiles and seems to view saving people more as a chore then something he actually wants to do. My Superman is the one whose dad told him that "He was sent here to do more then play Football"
I hope they change the direction they've taken him. But when Martha (WHY DID I SAY THAT NA, er never mind) told him that "He didn't owe the world anything," it seemed that they had doubled down on their take.

@Buckster10 - Martha's correct though.
Clark does not owe the world anything. Yet, he's willing to sacrifice his life for it.

That, imo, show signs of the "right" type of Superman.

@Buckster10 - Exactly. Looks like the same theme, different characters from MOS?
