A man named Sylvester asks for help from Chloe and her team of superheroes but he ends up getting attacked and killed. Clark is led to former HQ of the original JSA where he meets up with superheroes: Dr. Fate, Hawkman, and Star Girl. Later he teams with the group bringing John Jones, Green Arrow, and (cough) Chloe to help catch and stop the killer.

LEEE777 - Also Lois receives a package from a mysterious agency called Checkmate. Hmm, very interesting don't you think? All I can say is they needed to make up for season 8 and it looks like they have in spades.
