I like the writers portrayal of Green Arrow. Hartley is alright. I'd be all for a good spin off.

I think if nothing else Hartley has brought Green Arrow far more into the public eye that arrow would have ever done without smallville. Also, minus the constant use of crossbow instead of an actual bow and arrow, i think this is the 1st time smallvilles spin on a character is in fact an improvement on the source material

Hartley as GA is the best part of Smallville. I have to agree with Twenty23 that he should get rid of the crossbow.

As a huge Green Arrow fan I really hope we get a spin off, because its been made clear that the producers of smallville almost care more for Ollie's story than Clark's. Season one have him lose his fortune and become the street vigilante (helps avoid the batman comparisons *cough Superguy1591*). Then you have seasons to explore him regaining his fortune, running for mayor of star city, theres even a selection of relationships to throw him into! how the hell could the CW resist haha
