Smallville Finale Spoilers! Interview with Mr. Welling himself!

Below is an interview with Mr. Welling himself hinting at one really great scene between him and Lex...and of course he mentioned that he will indeed be donning the suit. This probably isn't much...but it should be enough to sooth at least a little bit of the anticipation many fans are having for the finale. With my most favorite CB villain Lex Luthor's return and Clark finally growing a pair and becoming Superman...my hopes are high as are everyone else's that this finale will be FREAKING AWESOME!!!! Ok, so here's the interview:

Clark's relationship with Lois (Erica Durance):
"In the season finale, we address the future between Clark and Lois. I think that what you'll see is that Clark is destined to be alone. It's the hero's burden," says Welling. "You'll see in the finale that of course, there is a future between Clark and Lois in the world of Superman. It's how they get there that I think will be very entertaining."

Michael Rosenbaum's return as Lex Luthor:
"It's the worst kept secret in television history," Tom laughs. "The scene between Clark and Lex is one of my favorites, for sure."

The "no flights, no tights" tagline that's been thrown around for several years:
"It's funny that you asked that," says Welling. "I'm doing some press over the last few weeks... and I got an email from Warner Bros politely requesting that I not answer that question."

The transformation from Clark Kent to Superman:
"The final image of what you'll see at the end of 'Smallville'... makes me so proud and makes the hair on my arms stand up. It's something that people have wanted to see for a long time and it'll fulfill what they've been waiting for."
