This seasons Smallville has been the best and thanks to all the fans and viewers keeping the show within the top five each week there is a very good chance there will be a tenth season. The first thing I noticed with a change was the Smallville magazine the publishing announced only two more issues

this was in the middle of summer I didn’t think much of it only a another small bit of certainty that the show was coming to an end. But when there were no promotional pics within a month of the season premier airing really the CW released a few cropped screen caps a while before the airing
it was strange but after a couple of weeks after the first airing of season nine they released pic

but I immediately noticed something about it being a graphic designer I notice details after I saw the picture and had that felling I searched through every seasons promo pics through the past eight seasons and I found them photos of the actors and actresses from season six

but was unable to find the actress Erica durance who plays Lois lane I did not find it or this is a new photo from what I can tell from the rest it is a very rare photo or a unreleased promo pic. The CW is using a photo they used to promote the season eight.

Their also hasn’t been any individual promo photos made ether only screen caps that have been cropped For their Smallville page jus t with a few alterations. I’ve also recently gone to kryptonsite.com and they are saying that they have a new marketing image that has been Photoshoped from a season four promo image

with the background removed and replaced with a city horizon even that is has been done before but with a Kyle xy promo pic.

The only thing really new is the now on Friday ad which isn’t the best they done.
All the things can be explained by two things Smallville is blowing all their money on the show trying to make the best they can before the shows final season or budget cuts but either of which it seems to work for the most part seeing as how the ratings are higher than ever.
