At the end of a Bruce Timm retrospective at Comic-Con fans got a hint of a new project for the animator/artist: "The Death of Superman"!

The panelists kept denying Timm was coming back to the animated DC Universe and that he was next going to work on The New Frontier. "Then at the very end of the event the light started dimming and everyone on stage acted like nothing was happening. Suddenly a Giant Red S dripping blood appeared on the big screens," according to a Superhero Hype source.

Timm said to expect an announcement soon.
