See How TEEN TITANS GO Hilariously Poked Fun At MAN OF STEEL, BATMAN v SUPERMAN, and DC REBIRTH
It's no Young Justice, but Teen Titans Go is a lot of fun, and a recent episode managed to find a pretty hilarious way to incorporate some very controversial DC Films Universe Easter Eggs...
Much to the delight of fans, it was recently revealed that Young Justice will return for a third season. Its replacement, Teen Titans Go, is sticking around though, and this weekend's episode ("TV Knight") featured some pretty damn hilarious nods to the DC Films Universe's most controversial moments.
Among them was a nod to General Zod's broken neck in Man of Steel, something which he seemingly managed to survive in this world! Look closely next to that though and you'll spot a very cool Easter Egg in the form of the Comedian's bloody badge from Watchmen. That's an obvious reference to the recent DC Rebirth, and who could have ever guessed we'd see that iconic image in a show like this?
However, perhaps the best one has to be the fact that Batman has two Marthas in his contacts list. If you've seen Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, you'll know why that's important to him...
