While the movie did not exactly light the box office on fire, Paramount still has lofty ideas for the Mutant Mayhem franchise, including a tie-in animated series to bridge the gap between the first film and its sequel.

According to the https://toyworldmag.co.uk/ website, an article detailing the release of the Mutant Mayhem toyline also revealed that the television series would be arriving on Paramount+ in Q3 2024.

The series was famous for opening with a big splash page that focused on the main character of the issue, who would then began recounting an adventure with the line, "Let me tell you a story..."
