Leatherhead Debuts In Clip From This Week's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

I've been wondering when another classic character would pop up in Nickelodeon's great take on the TMNT, and this Saturday it'll be everyone's favorite mutant alligator giving the heroes in a half-shell a run for their money..

A few quibbles aside, I've been very pleasantly surprised by how good this show has been so far, and it's great to see them begin to introduce a few of the old favorites like Leartherhead here. Casey Jones next though please!

Emerging from their hidden lair in the sewers, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles visit the surface for the very first time and confront the wondrous and hostile world of New York City! They immediately face a group of thugs attempting to kidnap April O’Neil and her father Kirby. Failing miserably to rescue Kirby, the band of reptile brothers promise to help April find her father, and together, they learn the importance of working as a team. When the Turtles come upon a mysterious canister of mutagen, they realize the mystery of their existence is much bigger than they ever imagined. Now, with the proper ninjutsu training, and Leo as leader, the brothers are ready to face their worst enemies, including a race of extra-dimensional aliens known as the Kraang, a vast army of ninja warriors known as The Foot, and of course, the evil and ruthless Shredder.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles airs Saturday mornings on Nickelodeon.

the creators said Jones will appear in Season 2.

and yea aside from a few things I really enjoy this incarnation.

I want Bebop and Rocksteady somewhere down the line and was sad when Bradford and Xever became Dogpound and Fishface.

Also why an army of Kraaangs when they could've just had Krang with an army of rock soldiers?

And even tho I really like BOOYAKASHA, I miss COWABUNGA

This show is pretty good. The only thing I can complain about is donatello's voice.

Best Turtles
1. Raphael
2. Mikey
3. Leo
4. Donny

Amy Adams for April O'Neil, Ken Watanabe for Shredder, Jacky Chan for Master Splinter, Mark Walhburg for Casey Jones...

This show turned out to be surprisingly amazing.. Seriously puts the 2003 series to shame IMHO.

Wonder if Jones will be a rival with Donny for April's affections.

BTW did anyone notice that this is almost exactly how they met Leatherhead in the mirage comics.. Another reason why this show is amazing. Leatherhead isn't really meant to be a villain BTW, the 87 series is the only incarnation where he is evil.

I'm loving the hell out of this show. It may be too early to hope for, but I would love to see this series' Turtles take on Slash!

I have really, really enjoyed this show but hate how Bradford & Xever,Shredder's henchmen, were turned into lame ass mutant monsters.

Having ramdom baddies turn into creatures was fine but those henchmen were 10 times better as human foes.
