"The city needs heroes... Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is directed by Jonathan Liebesman. It stars Megan Fox, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, Whoopi Goldberg and opens August 8.

Boxoffice.com is predicting $30 million OW for this movie. Seems kinda low if you ask me (especially for something like the Turtles).

@TheAmarilloBlack Yea cause if I remember correctly a foot solider who was on set said when they beat up the foot clan in one scene they leave them tied up in a pose that resembles each renaissance artist XD I hope they kept it

This looks so freaking stellar. I can't wait for this! Awesome that an actual movie is being introduced to a new generation, and I think it looks like the perfect mix of both cartoons (before the newest one) and the comics. Already love it!

I was seriously convinced , and I mean SERIOUSLY convinced this was gonna be absolutely, intolerably, awful. But with each new bit of footage I see, my interest in this movie slowly rises. I almost think, maybe, this could pleasantly surprise us.

I really think this is going to be a sleeper hit. So much hate for it, but that hate is slowly diminishing. I love it. It really is a modern reinvention of the turtles with everything that we love about the franchise
